Division of Lifelong and Distance Learning

It coordinates the activities and projects of the University of West Bohemia (UWB) in the field of lifelong learning, e-learning, and science popularization. It proposes possible forms of modernization of teaching and educational activities at UWB and the concept of their development. It ensures the quality assessment of lifelong learning programs and provides support for online education (LMS Moodle, GAPPS, Office365), including the implementation of courses related to trends in the creation of electronic study materials and trends in online education. It is responsible for the organizational support of the Lifelong Learning Council, maintains records of issued certificates, and creates and delivers training courses for UWB employees. Its scope of activities is defined in the UWB Lifelong Learning Code.
