STIPENDIJNÍ PODPORA

• Scholarships for stays in Austria for the preparation of a diploma, dissertation or habilitation thesis, scholarships for participation in summer language courses in German/Czech and scholarships for university teachers for completing a research/lecture stay.

INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT FOR COOPERATION PROJECTS

• Activities whose topics relate to the current or future development of both states and/or their historical roots. For example, joint seminars or professional excursions; joint scientific events such as symposia, professional meetings and workshops; Czech/Norwegian summer language courses; summer professional schools in various scientific disciplines; academic exchange.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION/TIPS

Use at UWB: 1-2 projects per year, so far only Faculty of Education, Department of German

Average amount of contribution/subsidy: not specified, on average about 80,000 CZK (UWB projects for 30,000 and 160,000 CZK)

Administrative complexity: not too complicated, bilingual (Czech and German), own *doc program forms (application/project proposal; budget – accommodation, meals, transport; billing)

Duration of the subsidy process: from application submission to approval about 3 months (project implementation required within 1 calendar year), subsidy paid in advance, billing is carried out at the end of the year
