International Visegrad Fund

The Fund is an international funding organization established by the governments of 4 countries – the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. It supports regional cooperation, but also cooperation with other regions, especially the Western Balkans and the regions that are part of the Eastern Partnership. The Fund provides assistance in the form of grants, scholarships and hosting. It supports joint (not only research) projects as well as mobility, knowledge sharing, innovation development and citizen engagement.

Mini-grants are a novelty within the framework of the International Visegrad Fund. It is necessary to choose one of the goals from six areas, or create your own. The goals are not presented as separate thematic categories. Sustainability and resilience, heritage and remembrance, health and active lifestyle, arts and culture, democracy and citizens, competences and entrepreneurship. One of the conditions is that each project must include the mobility of young people (12-30 years old) from at least two V4 countries, i.e. cross-border visits. Other conditions

The most widespread at UWB are the Visegrad Grants. These grants will support original approaches that help advance in seven main areas: Culture, education, innovation, democratic values, public policy, environment and tourism, social development.

You can submit your project proposals via My Visegrad during the application period, which starts 30 days before the deadline – 1 February, 1 June, 1 October at 12:00 (noon).
