INTERREG VI-C, Program meziregionální spolupráce INTERREG EUROPE

The European Commission's programme for the period 2021-2027 supporting interregional cooperation.

The aim of the programme is to improve the implementation of regional development policies, including the Investment for Growth and Jobs programmes.

It will allow projects to carry out activities aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and exchanging good practices between entities involved in the implementation of regional policy, in all areas corresponding to the thematic focus of cohesion policy.

These are "soft" projects aimed at strengthening capacities, exchanging experience, transferring good practices and innovative solutions. Typical activities are conferences, workshops, preparation of strategies, action plans and procedures, study visit recommendations, training, pilot investments.

  • Subsidy area: the entire EU plus Switzerland and Norway
  • Projects usually last 4 years.
  • The principle of a lead partner and reimbursement of eligible costs paid.
  • Amount of subsidy: 80% from the EUSF plus 10% from the MRD of the Czech Republic. Co-financing from UWB resources in the amount of 10%.
  • Applicants: public and private institutions. More than ½ of the partners MUST BE from the public administration segment!
  • Official language: English

PRACTICAL INFORMATION/TIPS

Utilization at UWB: So far zero, and in the future completely minimal – more than ½ of the partners must be from the public administration (municipalities, regions, ministries) – practically unrealistic to discuss any project during the open call and obtain the consent of the public administration entity.
