Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK)

The Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK) is the key programme supporting Czech entrepreneurs in the 2021–2027 programming period. A total of EUR 3.2 billion (approximately CZK 81.5 billion) has been allocated for this programme from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Applicants can use these funds to co-finance business projects in the areas of research, development and innovation, digitalisation and digital infrastructure, business development, smart and sustainable energy, and the circular economy.

The Managing Authority of OP TAK is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MIT). The Business and Innovation Agency (API) acts as the intermediary body.

The programme has five priorities, each divided into specific objectives with defined supported activities:

  • Priority 1: Strengthening business performance in research, development, innovation, and digital transformation
  • Priority 2: Business development and SME competitiveness
  • Priority 3: Development of digital infrastructure
  • Priority 4: Transition to a low-carbon economy
  • Priority 5: More efficient resource management
