Technology Agency of the Czech Republic
The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR) is a state organizational unit established in 2009 under Act No. 130/2002 Coll. on the support of research, experimental development, and innovation. The establishment of TA ČR was a key implementation step in the reform of the research, development, and innovation system. TA ČR centralizes state support for applied research and development, which had previously been fragmented among many providers.

ERA-NET Cofund Calls
ERA-NET Cofund calls provide an opportunity for Czech applicants (companies and research organizations) to submit joint projects with foreign partners in various fields. The calls are jointly announced by funding agencies from the participating member countries involved in the ERA-NET Cofund. In the Czech Republic, the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic acts as the national funding provider. Each provider funds successful applicants from their own country in these international projects. Consortium partners from non-participating countries can join but must secure their own funding.
The goal of TA ČR is to support international cooperation in research and development, enabling Czech researchers to share knowledge across Europe, gain experience, and establish international contacts that can be used for future collaborations or preparation of joint projects in other programs.
