Support for the Development of the Study Environment at UWB "Nábyteček"

Project Registration Number: CZ.02.2.67/0.0/0.0/17_044/0008546

The aim of the Support for the Development of the Study Environment at UWB project is to improve the quality of the educational environment by modernizing and upgrading university facilities. This mainly includes the modernization of computer and language classrooms, study rooms, lecture halls, the university library, and more. The project directly benefits students (both bachelor’s and master’s programs) across all study programs. It supports the modernization and development of university spaces used by the target group.

The implementation of the proposed project will bring the following key changes: a significant increase in the quality of the educational and study environment at UWB; essential modernization and addition of equipment across the university. Upgrades will focus primarily on computer and language classrooms, study rooms, lecture halls, and the university library (see "Causes of the Problem“ below). Undergraduate students (the target group), who will primarily benefit from the enhanced study environment, will gain better access to the modernized spaces, equipment, and teaching aids. The involved UWB departments (functional project components) are in the process of intensive preparation of the new study programs (accreditations). The project’s implementation will increase UWB’s potential to offer new study programs (see links to ESF).

The project is funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports under the EU Operational Programme Research, Development and Education within the Call 02_17_044 Support for the Development of the Study Environment at Higher Education Institutions.
