The submitted project is designed as a one-day conference aimed at presenting the opportunities available to the academic community in the field of science communication. The purpose of the project is to clearly and engagingly convey the importance of science communication to the target group (academic and scientific staff of UWB, UWB students, members of disciplinary platforms in R&D, and representatives of partner institutions)

The project intends to familiarize the target group (as noted above) with the importance of science communication and to enhance their competencies in this area. Emphasis will be placed, among other things, on coordinating communication of science and research to prevent fragmentation of the research community and to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and institutional unification of established communication processes as much as possible.
